For the first time in three years, Syria trust for development enters Deir-Alzour.

As an initial center for the team in the first floor of the building of the civil status department in -Al Joura stat- to provide legal services to all the auditors of the city. Accompany a number of civil registry secretariat staff on a regular basis, especially the official holidays of the legal response team. And the appointment of “Mukhtar” and a number of police officers to regulate fine police the legal manner and as soon as possible. During the eight days, the team was divided into several groups, each group received specific tasks. The team surveyed the needs of several districts (al-tebb, al-joura, al-haraysh, and Al-fateh mosque center) and then start to provide the required legal services. As a result, legal interventions were carried out, including the identification of hundreds of Syrian citizens, the issuance of personal and family cards, the establishment of birth and the extraction of civil restrictions through the center secretariat in Damascus. Coordination with governorate is currently under way to carry out the second phase of the response to alleviate the suffering of individuals and society and to assist them and restore hope to them.

Agreement of Scientific and Cultural Cooperation between the Universities of Al-Kalamoun and Al-Manara

The University of Al-Kalamoun and Al-Manara had signing an agreement Scientific and Cultural Cooperation in fields of education and training and Academic exchanges and the development of cooperation and dissemination of knowledge, On Wednesday, 11 October, the Chief of the University of Kalamoun, Professor Nabil Al-Batal, and the Chief of Al-Manara University, Dr. Mohammad Maher Al-Mujtahd, met with facilities from both universities, The agreement provides for the cooperation of the two universities in several fields such as research and scientific activity, establishing shared training courses and facilitating participation in several activities (sports, art, social and cultural) in both universities. It was agreed to exchange visits between the two universities by representatives, teaching staff and students. It was agreed to cooperate in the field of information, exchange of experiences and quality assurance.

Participation of “Mashroui “ in "Rifna Barakeh “Exhibition

“Mashroui “sought to create real opportunities for individuals by providing opportunities and creating new markets for producers. Therefore, 90 beneficiaries of "Mashroui" participated in the Rural Development Projects Exhibition "Rifna Barakeh", which was held at the Lamira Hotel in Lattakia, in the presence and patronage of Mr. Emad Khamis, Prime Minister. A variety of products were presented in a project pavilion such as (honey, soap, food, medicinal herbs, milk and cheese, oil, vinegar and handcrafts) to promote the products of the beneficiaries and ensure that their products are needed and meet the needs of local consumption.

The Second meeting of high steering committee for the Reconstruction of Old Aleppo.

Chaired by the minister of culture as a chairman of the committee, “the high steering committee” second meeting for reconstruction of old Aleppo was held on the first of November by presence of number of members, and representatives of UNDP in order to discuss the updates on old Aleppo restoration and the recent ongoing projects, the strategy and method that will be followed in the further stage. The meeting was a complementary to the national strategy and the stages of the rehabilitation of old Aleppo after the crisis which depending on the partnership between the government institutions, private sectors, civil society, and the international organizations which are interested in the international heritage. The strategy pursues to protect and rehabilitate the cultural heritage in the city as a valuable source of environmental, social and economically, by restore the old city and preserve the cultural heritage in various categories to ensure the revival old city of Aleppo and to ensure the maximum opportunities for sustainable economic development community.
